The brass water tap of the play kitchen contains levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban.  Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues.

European Recall: Primark Winnie the Pooh bamboo plate

 



August 11, 2022:  Primark issued an urgent recall notice to customers after health and safety concerns over a popular Disney product.

The Winnie the Pooh bamboo plate hit stores in January this year and customers have been issued a message to return them to stores as soon as possible and will be offered a refund. This comes after the product has been found to cause a possible safety risk.

According to a statement by Primark, is has been found to release trace amounts of lead and formaldehyde at levels higher than the EU regulation permitted levels which could be dangerous if ingested.
